The Massialas Foundation is committed to the ideals of the Olympic Games, the spirit of excellence and the pursuit of the goals of the original Olympic charter - to build a better and more peaceful world by educating youth through sport.

Our Youth Fencing Champions program is a unique, and internationally proven pedagogical system developed by Beijing Olympic Fencing coach, and 3-time USA Olympian, Maestro Greg Massialas. Our program has a proven track record of bringing out the champion that exists inside kids through the Olympic sport and ancient art of fencing.

• From beginner to Olympian life skills – Our fencers are taught individual technical skills, physical conditioning, mental discipline, teamwork, and development of their inner spirit. By starting at a young age and challenging the kids to do their best, the champion inside every child will come out. Their passion for the sport and their discipline to push themselves will determine what they will attain. Our track record proves that the sky is the limit. Not everyone will make the Olympics, but the skills learned in our program are valuable life-long skills.
• Scholastic Achievement – Our fencers learn that the combination of high scholastic and fencing achievement is a winning combination for success. Coaches from Ivy League and other elite universities are in constant contact with our program, as they recruit our fencers for the NCAA programs.
• #1 Foil Fencing program in the USA – Since the 2001 USA Nationals, our fencers have won more National gold medals than any other foil program in the USA. Overall, our fencers have won a record 72 USA National GOLD medals and a total of 317 USA National Medals!
• The Olympic Sport of Fencing is a safe, individual sport that challenges the mind and keeps the body sharp. Fencers need to use their mind, body, and technical skills to overcome their adversary. They are forced to apply their problem solving skills under very stressful conditions. At the end of the match, they shake hands and go on to fence another day.
• International Cross-Cultural Experiences – International camps and competitions allow our kids to be young ambassadors and build friendships with fencers all over the world, allowing them a unique and worldly experience.
• USA Fencing Historical Note – The fencers in our program have brought home for USA Fencing, more World Championship Men’s Foil medals than any other program in the history of USA Fencing. In the 2008 Beijing Olympics, our top fencer, Gerek Meinhardt, was the youngest USA Olympic fencer in history.
