The Youth Fencing Champions program is a unique program developed by Maestro Greg Massialas that is focused on developing the champion that exists inside all kids thru the Olympic sport and ancient art of fencing. This program is now one of the elite youth fencing programs in the USA.

* The safe, worldwide art and Olympic Sport of Fencing is a special individual sport that challenges the mind and keeps the body sharp. A fencers’ spirit comes alive on the fencing strip as each fencer has to make quick symbolic life or death decisions. Fencing has often been described as playing a physical chess at a 100 mph. Fencers need to use their mind, body, and technical skills to overcome their adversary

When a fencer is on the strip, it is like being on an island with an adversary and only one is getting off the island. They are forced to apply their problem solving skills under very stressful conditions. This helps shape every kid’s character in a unique way. At the end of the match, they shake hands and get to fence another day.

* Every year we teach fencing to hundreds of girls and boys in San Francisco in our introductory program. Those fencers who continue, apply themselves, and work hard have a chance to reach for the stars. Our young fencers have won many gold, silver and bronze medals in national events.

* M Team kids are taught physical conditioning, mental discipline, development of their inner spirit, working together as a group, while having fun. By starting at a young age and challenging the kids to do their best, the champion inside every kid will come out. Their passion for the sport and their discipline to push themselves will determine what they attain. The sky is the limit. The individual skills learned in fencing are life long disciplines that they will be able to use later in life.

* The M Team started competing in 2000 and based on total USA National Youth Foil Points since then:
Our Youth Fencing Champions program is the #1 Youth Foil program in the USA
At the 2005 National Championships, our fencers were Champions in:
Y10 Boys Foil, Y12 Boys Foil, Y14 Boys Foil, & Cadet Men’s Foil
